Membership Classifications
The full range of membership benefits and services are available to all membership classifications.
Regular:
Requires a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, or holds a valid CPA certificate or other
related certification, or must be actively engaged in accounting for two or more years.
Associate:
Regularly enrolled students in post-secondary educational institutions majoring in accounting or
a related field, or actively engaged in accounting with less than two years experience.
Affiliate:
Persons having substantial interest in the accounting profession.
Retired:
Persons who have reached age 65 as of June 1st, and who have been regular or associate members for
five consecutive years or the life of the chapter, whichever shall come first. Or, persons who have reached age 55 as if June 1st, and who have been
regular or associate members for ten years or the life of the chapter, whichever shall come first.
Honorary:
Persons whose professional achievements exemplify the standards encouraged by the mission statement
of the chapter.
Honorary member's dues are paid by the chapter.
