Attend Monthly Meeting 5 points per meeting 5 points x 11 meetings = 55 points Attend Board Meeting 5 points per meeting 5 points x 10 meetings = 50 points Attend National Conference 30 points 30 points x 1 conference = 30 points Attend Regional Conference 15 points 15 points x 1 conference = 15 points Volunteer Opportunities 10 points 10 points x 3 opportunities = 30 points Participation in Committee Procedures Meeting 10 points 10 points x 1 meeting = 10 points Participation in Mid-Year Goals Meeting 10 points 10 points x 1 meeting = 10 points New Member Mentoring 10 points 10 points x unlimited = unlimited Committee Participation 1 to 50 points 1 to 50 points per committee = unlimited

Outstanding Participation.
Awarded to the members with 100 or more points for the year. Receive certificate and small gift for outstanding participation.

Member of the Year.
Awarded to non-board member with the highest number of points. Receive certificate and gift.

New Member of the Year.
Awarded the new member with the highest number of points. A new member is defined as a member who joined between May 1st of the prior year and April 30th of the current year. Receive certificate and gift.

Innovative Member of the Year.
Awarded to the member(s) who has implemented an innovative idea that has helped to meet the ASWA mission or helped the community. (Examples: emailing the Bulletin, donating used business clothing). Receive certificate and gift. (Award does not have to be presented every year. Review accomplishments for the year and see if the criteria is met.) For a list of past recipients see member recognition.

Notes:
Points are accumulated on a year that runs from May 1 of the prior year to April 30 of the current year. Committee chair maintains points throughout the year. Point information comes from various committee chairs and Chapter officers.

Awards are presented at the annual Member Recognition Dinner in June.
